The 2012 Lake Simcoe Tour is a new, one-of-a-kind event: a 11 kilometer social media photo contest.

Teams upload scenic pictures to the Lake Simcoe Tour Facebook Page.

Prizes are awarded for:

B) Best Overall Collection
C) Fastest Completion Time
D) Trivia Questions Answered Correctly
E) Heaviest (Measurable) Social Network Impact

The Lake Simcoe has evolved since 2010 with exactly the same goal to feed children that are hungry in our hometowns.

The buying power of food banks is roughly twice that of the consumer. That's why we are collecting pledges from participants. All pledges go directly to the Elizabeth Fry Society of Simcoe County.

The first Canadian Elizabeth Fry Society was established in Vancouver in 1939. The Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies (CAEFS) was originally conceived of in 1969 and was incorporated as a voluntary non-profit organization in 1978.

Today there are 26 member societies across Canada.
